NEWBURY STREET LEAGUE ANNUAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS DINNER

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008, the NSL Board of Directors will gather socially to reconnect and celebrate the success of the League. Thanks to our gracious member and neighbor, Stephanie's at 190 Newbury Street will host this year's event.

Be on the lookout for more news announcing a new event scheduled for March 18, 2008. We are planning a cocktail reception and raffle/auction to raise money to beautify the street, by having the tree pits come alive with flowers and greenery this Spring and Summer. Tickets for this event are only $25.00 per person, so mark your calendar and stay tuned for more information.

MEMBERSHIP OPEN HOUSE RECEPTION

The League has kicked off our yearly round of Networking Receptions with a special Membership Open House Reception! The Reception took place on Tuesday January 29th at 6pm, and was hosted by the New England Historic Genealogical Society. All member and non-member businesses on Newbury Street were invited for a chance to learn about special advertising opportunities with our annual Map & Directory. Over 100 guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, wine, free giveaways, and the company of their neighbors on this very special night! Hors d'oeuvres were donated by Ben & Jerry’s, Boloco, Shino Express Sushi, Steve’s Greek & American, Tapeo, Thai Basil, and the Upper Crust. Special thanks to the New England Historic Genealogical Society for hosting, and to the following businesses for donating giveaway gift certificates: AG Jeans, Betsy Jenney, Boloco, DKNY, Fenway Sportszone, Fiddlehead, Fitness Together, the Improper Bostonian, Paper Chase, Parks True Value, Safar Coiffure, Scoozi, Skinhealth, Soodee, and VWH Jewelry.
